The Clarence Lodge
meet at the RAOB Club,
 58a Arcot Street, Penarth,
 Vale of Glamorgan, CF64 1ES.
 1st and 3rd Sundays at 12:30.
City Secretary:  Bro. Peter Gillon ROH.

Welcome to the Clarence Lodge page.  Its hard to believe that this lodge has been in existence for so long. The Lodge has been functioning since 1813 over 100 years and is soon to be able to show off with a certificate that tells all that we have been operating for 100 years or more.
A recent find of what is a very old Services Rendered jewel presented to a Sir William Parker DGP {to be autheticated we think this shoulld be DPGP} 1892 turned up in the united states helps you focus on just how old we are closed, and not so long ago a severe blow to the Cardiff & District Province. When the Clarence closed only to be brought back too life by a group of dedicated buffs who got together and decided that the loss of the Province's oldest Lodge was not acceptable and it was decided to re-open it as a Sunday lunchtime Lodge.
We do not behave like our years indicate we should we are a family friendly lodge and this  works, and if you come along you will hear our beloved Munchkins have their version of a Lodge.
Lodge days now are full of life & very busy, and if you are a visiting buff to this area, then the Clarence Lodge on a Sunday is THE place to be.
LODGE NEWS
We are an active lodge and have formed a very strong bond with the Sunshine Lodge of the Maesteg Province and regularly raid them and they reciprocate  We consider this an essential way to behave especially with the way that our beloved order is shrinking.
We are lucky that in regular attendance are the PGP,DPGP 2003 & the IPPGP to firget our STRESSED current PGCh. So we busy ourselves helping the PGP with his appeal etc and what better class of instruction can you have,
Attendances are steady a meeting goes by when we don't get at least one visiting brother,
So why not join us some Sunday, leave the roast on hold, take the Apron off,and bring the family along you are assured of a Hearty & Convivial Welcome.
Lastly we would like to express our thanks to our hosts The Duke of Cambridge Club for letting us use the premises and the  lodge room its nice to be able to meet in a real lodge.
