Welcome to the Clarence Lodge page. We are now entering 2009 and we at the Clarence
Lodge wish all a Happy and Prospreous Year.
The Lodge has been functioning since 1892 over 116 years and is soon to be able to show off
with a certificate that tells all that we have been operating for 100 years or more.
LODGE NEWS
We do not behave like our years indicate we should we are a family friendly lodge and
this works, and if you come along you will hear our beloved Munchkins have their version of a Lodge.
Like most lodges
we struggle to keep our numbers up seldom getting above 6 even though we had promises when we reopened that Brothers would
attend.
We proudly have reintroduced our own monogrammed Polo Shirts the chosen
colour for wear in Lodge being for some reason Red, you can of course have your own choice of colour. They must be OK as even
our Buffesses are wearing them. Bro Windsor Harry ROH is the main contact for the shirts and I am sure he will be happy
to organise obtaining one for you.
So why not join us some Sunday, leave the roast on hold, take the Apron off,and bring
the family along you are assured of a Hearty & Convivial Welcome.
We would like to express our thanks to our hosts The Duke of Cambridge Club
for letting us use the premises and the lodge room its nice to be able to meet in a real lodge Room with the most magnificent
WP's Rostrum and Chair that I have ever had the pleasure of occupying (and Bro JW even installed a set of steps to assist
us with poor mobility.)
Secretary
I have hung up my quill pen and a new Secretary has been appointed as namely Bro Rolande Puscas
the only member still attending who was initiated in the Clarence Lodge.
